Teamwork:
Teamwork is a major factor determining the success of a team in the NFL. If you look at the teams that were successful and those that are successful now, you will see that the team worked as one cohesive unit. Each member of the team was on the same page, at all times. A strong and cohesive team is able to limit mistakes and increase productivity.
What football means to me:
I have played football since I was 6 years old. For me and my family, it is a major part of our lives. I have been blessed to have the abilities to play this game at such a high level. I can’t imagine my life without football.
My motivation to play football:
I am motivated each day by the goal of becoming the best. Being merely a player in the NFL does not satisfy me. I want to be considered one of the best players in the NFL. I also want to defy all those critics who have underestimated throughout my career. I also strive to be the best because I want to make myself and my family proud.
The importance of my family/support system:
My family has always played a major role in my life. They have always been there for me throughout my entire life, from Pee Wee leagues to the NFL. They still come to all my games. I will always be grateful for everything that they have done for me.
Who has inspired me and why:
Coming from Mississippi, I am inspired from those who have laid the path before me…legends like Jerry Rice and Walter Payton. To see guys that come from where I grew up, that I admire, who make it after receiving little exposure, is very inspiring and motivating.
